§ 01 / The studio

Small shop, short brief.

Toaster Studios is a one-person mod shop with a cat on payroll. We started this year and we ship slow on purpose.

The brief is short: crazy things that unbrain your brain. Physics jokes, tiny mechanics, the occasional regrettable mob — and if a YouTuber showed off a mod and never released it, we'll have a go at recreating it. Mostly in Minecraft. Now also in The Stanley Parable.

We'd rather build one mechanic and tune it until it feels right than crank out fifty that don't. Three mods are live so far, with a Stanley Parable thing toasting. The cat supervises.

01 / Proof

You send the link.

A YouTube clip, a screenshot, a half-finished idea typed at 2am. We write back with what we think it'd take.

02 / Mix

We prototype.

Couple of weekends of trying weird stuff in Fabric. Most of it goes in the bin. We show you the survivors.

03 / Toast

We build it properly.

Code, balance, sounds, permissions, the edge cases. The cat watches. This part is most of the project.

04 / Plate

Out the door.

Minecraft mods go up on Modrinth; the rest go wherever that game keeps its mods. GitHub issues open, replies in the comments. If it breaks, we patch it.
